A nine-panel colored comic strip featuring a young woman (Orange, 27) who is a writer and a 15-year veteran fan of pop culture. The story explores the psychological reasons why human-made dramas and media continue to thrive even in an era where AI can generate content perfectly tailored to an individual's taste. The comic explains that AI-customized content is like "one's own island." While it seems free, it ultimately narrows down the narrative to a predictable loop based strictly on the user's past preferences. This is visualized by the character relaxing on a chair inside a lush greenhouse filled with potted plants. In contrast, traditional drama is described as a "strange continent created by someone else," offering the distinct pleasure of unexpected twists and fresh perspectives, shown by the character looking through a window at a magnificent, glowing crystal castle in a distant landscape. The narrative highlights the social aspect of media consumption, showing Orange and a male partner with mouse ears watching a movie in a theater. They discuss the deep human desire to share and discuss stories with others after consuming them, as well as the passive joy of listening to a favorite author's voice without the fatigue of constantly prompting an AI. The comic concludes with Orange looking out at a sprawling estate, confidently asserting that human-made creations will never disappear.
