[안쥐] 졸업유예하면 나쁜 건가요

[만화] 핸드폰과 연인 중 하나만 골라야 한다면

A nine-panel comic strip in a clean, detailed black-and-white style. The protagonist, a woman with short hair, discusses the psychological impact of 'Phubbing' on relationships. The story begins with a provocative question: "If you had to choose between your smartphone and your girlfriend, which one would you pick?" She explains that this isn't just a childish question but a serious topic in modern psychology. Citing research by Professors Roberts and David at Baylor University, she notes that 70% of people in relationships report that smartphones interfere with their interactions, and 42% of young couples (ages 18–29) feel their partners are distracted by phones. The comic defines 'Phubbing' as a portmanteau of 'Phone' and 'Snubbing.' It explains the brain science behind it: emotional communication requires significant energy, whereas smartphones provide "Instant Reward" through dopamine without much effort. The protagonist warns that if a partner has to ask, "Am I more important, or is your phone?", it’s a sign that the relationship's buffer zone has already collapsed. The narrative concludes by suggesting that the real answer isn't in choosing one over the other, but in building trust daily so such questions never arise. The final panel shows the character sitting calmly with her phone face down, concluding that no digital data can replace the warmth of a person sitting right in front of you.
