[안쥐] 졸업유예하면 나쁜 건가요

[만화] 안쥐 졸업논문 엽록소 형광

A nine-panel comic strip in a detailed, semi-realistic style. The protagonist, a researcher with a bun and headphones, explains the science behind her undergraduate thesis: Chlorophyll Fluorescence. The story begins with the surprising fact that green leaves constantly emit a red light. When plants absorb sunlight, the energy goes one of three ways: it is used for photosynthesis, released as heat, or emitted as light—known as 'Chlorophyll Fluorescence'. These paths are in competition; if photosynthesis is working well, fluorescence decreases, but if the plant is stressed or damaged, fluorescence increases. The comic explains that this phenomenon occurs in green algae, sea slugs (Elysia timida), and even marine plankton, which can be seen from space by satellites monitoring Earth's health. The protagonist's work involves analyzing this fluorescence to determine the health of roses. She notes that even if a rose looks fine on the outside, it might be internally stressed. Technical details are introduced, such as the Fv/Fm value measured after dark adaptation, which serves as a key indicator of photosynthetic efficiency. A low value, like 0.65, triggers a "WARNING" on her monitor, indicating the plant is struggling. The final panels show the researcher observing a rose glowing red through a special filter in a dark room. She concludes by expressing her dedication to gathering solid data for her thesis and asks for continued support.
1. 점점 과학만화가 되어가는 안쥐 계정이랍니다...
2. 인공위성으로 보는 형광은 SIF라고 부릅니다.
3. 학사논문이지만 최선을 다해 준비하겠습니다.
