A nine-panel comic strip featuring the white mouse character 'Anji', exploring the decline of traditional coding communities like Stack Overflow in the age of AI. The story begins with Anji describing Stack Overflow as a "holy land" for coding, yet one that feels like an impenetrable fortress for beginners. Anji depicts the anxiety of posting a question, only to be met with sharp, condescending responses like "This is a duplicate" or "Did you even search?" The character reflects on how enduring such gatekeeping was once considered a necessary rite of passage. The narrative shifts with the appearance of ChatGPT. Unlike the hostile community, the AI doesn't laugh at "messy" code or get annoyed by repeated questions. Instead of criticism, it provides solutions. Anji notes that people are leaving communities filled with "mind games" and "passive-aggressiveness," leading to a sharp decline in Stack Overflow's users. In the final panels, Anji suggests that AI isn't just replacing humans because of performance, but because humans naturally lean toward places where they feel respected. The comic ends with Anji peacefully sipping tea, concluding that it's only natural to prefer a supportive environment over one that is overflowing with knowledge but lacking in kindness.
